Job Description:

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Direct Care Staff professional to support individuals with developmental or physical disabilities in the Davie area. This part-time position offers 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule.

Ideal candidates are patient, responsible, and experienced in providing care and assistance to individuals with special needs in home or community-based settings.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support with daily living skills and personal care
• Assist with errands, appointments, and outings
• Encourage independence and engagement
• Perform light housekeeping and meal prep
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record
• Current CPR certification
• Must already have completed training in:
  • Zero Tolerance
  • Direct Care Competency
  • HIPAA
  • HIV/AIDS
• Must provide 3 professional references
• Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility
